Description:

We're starting out fun & simple here for our first group swap. You'll need to send your partner two things: a minifig and a message.

Minifigure: Send one complete minifigure. It can be one of the collector series still sealed in a pouch or it can be one from a set you've bought. Or it can be one you put together yourself with parts from sets, collector series 'figs, or even the build-a-minifigure station at a LEGO store. Value must be $3 (roughly the price of a collectible minifig) or more.

Your minifigure must have a minimum of 5 parts combined (you can include more pieces if you want):

  • Legs
  • Torso (complete assembly with arms and hands)
  • Head
  • Headgear (a hat, hair, helmet--something that goes on the head)
  • Accessory (utensil or item for it to hold such as a cup, sword, book, food, flowers, shield, ball, etc. not just a block)

Message: Write a short message as if your minifigure were speaking. If it's a smiley pirate, you might have it say "Avast! Hope yer havin' a nice day." If it's a mean policeman-alien hybrid you might write "Listen closely, Earthling. Your only chance to survive is to do exactly what I tell you.." Be creative! The message doesn't have to be long. It can be simple or silly or whatever you think your minifigure might say to your swap partner.

Note: this swap is for minifigures only; no microfigures like the kind you'd find in LEGO games.

Have fun!

As this is the first swap, I'll definitely angel if you're flaked on, once you've rated your partner and let me know. But all who flake will be permanently banned from the community and my little LEGO dogs will growl disapprovingly in your direction forevermore.

Just a thought since Lego now has microfigures as well that you may want to specify rules about them in this swap. I'm looking forward to this one!

Do Microfigures have detachable heads? I know they don't have arms & hands, torsos and legs as separate pieces, as explained in the rules. But I'll add a line to clarify anyway. Thanks.
