This swap is designed to help those who aren't quite sure what to send for a Smash Book/Junk Journal swap to get started. Even though I am targeting new smashers, all are welcome.

For this swap we will send our partner at least five (5) items (each individual piece counts as one item) that can be used in a smash book or junk journal. If you choose to send stickers, you must send at least 10, and they will only count as one item, no matter how many you send.

Please read your partners profile to see if you can send items with a theme they will like.

Here is a list of items that you can send for this project:

  • Small envelopes
  • Small note pad pages
  • Colorful, mostly flat decorative items
  • Postcards
  • New or vintage blank forms of any kind
  • Images (stickers, pictures cut from magazines, etc.)
  • Recipe Cards
  • Any attractive items that can be written on or used to decorate
  • Postage stamps

If you are uncertain how a Smash Book or Junk Journal looks, really anything goes. Below are links to several pages that show Smash Book pages:

Swap requirements: You'll need to have a rating of 4.90 or better and a well filled-out profile so that your partners will have an idea of what you'd like. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile. No recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. No flakers. I will consider those with a lower rating with personal communication before sign-up. Please PM me if you have questions.

Let's keep Smashing/Junking!!!!!

i'm super new so i don't really know what i'm doing but i have lots of smash* ideas and goodies to send out...how do i get a partner?

@mythologyy Assuming you join the swap, a partner will be assigned for you by the Swap-bot site once the sign-up date has passed and the coordinator has initiated the assignment process.

I strongly recommend you click on Help in the upper right hand corner and read the FAQ. There are several other important things you are going to need to know about how the site works, including your responsibilities as a swapper.

I hope you enjoy it here! :)
