OKAY PLEASE READ Update April 2013
Phew! The saga has ended, SHE closed or was asked to close the awful forum she had so I too will forgive her. Done, Finished, over, and out. Now, lets have FUN and swap, crafters!. I must add that nastiness of this whole idea of hers has backfired as I have made so many nice friends and supporters through this endurance.

I have always taken care of my participants in my swaps. If you receive any messages regarding my integrity with swaps please let either Rachel in Admin know or myself through a PM.

Because of all of you sending such supported messages to me I am going to at least do a Thriftstore find 36 to finish out my 3 yrs of them. So look for it in May.

I will recheck the rules on here to see if anything can be done internally to stop such people. It is hurtful to such a fun idea. Yes, I said "fun". I really think we should all check the rules from time to time too.

If at anytime you do not receive a swap I am to send to you within ten days USA, please email me. I usually send within 3 days of the swap being up. If you did not get it something is wrong, as I ALWAYS SEND.

If you joiin in any of my swaps know I take being co-ordinator very seriously. I check the ratingsI try to make sure when it is USA only, that no one other than that is in swap, sometimes people fail to read. Mistakes do happen, we can all adjust. I check each participant to make sure but sometimes they do slip by.

Being a senior citizen, I am retired with five grown children with 9 grands. and 2 ggrands. Love the mountains where I live. Worked for years at the telephone company. After retiring went 3 yrs. full time rving around the country then settled down (for awhile at least)

I love God, my country and am very patriotic and worried about our country right now.

Grease, Ghost,Dirty Dancing (I remember those days) old movies with Kate Hepburn and Spencer Tracy . If anyone has any of Kate's movies I would love to have them.

CSI, anything mysterious, HGTV of course. any of the crafty programs, Food TV, TCM, Top Chef, Top Designer. Bones has become my favorite.and I love the Mentalist - Mr. Jane, adorable man. Love a good mystery.

. My colors are mostly green shades and some blue. My kitchen and breakfast room are in pumpkin. . .. I also love to write. I keep journals, scrapbooks of my favorite things (don't need anymore).I write short stories and some of those are stories I made up for my grandchildren at bedtime when they were little. Just got into doing Zentangles.(Do not need any journals)

I have a group called Artistically Inclined. Check it out, even if you only like to color. Also check my group Thriftstore find, it is USA only.

I like to photograph gravestones that are magnificently carved and take photos for people who are doing ancestry and requests them from cemetery places near my town. If you like to do that go to www.findagrave.com and become a volunteer to take photos.

Like to do small fabric art 6 x 6 or 12x12 inches with themes or just abstract. I paint in watercolor or acrylic and love miniature art there also. I am doing a redwork block and appreciate any you all do in an exchange, just let me know.

I love abstract art or Vincent Van Gogh's work. I love Metropolitan museum of Art in N.Y.C., it is unbelievable to walk thru. Favorite flower is the daisy Favorite colors are blue and green Favorite writer is Jennifer Rothschild (shes' my daughter in law) and for mysteries Patterson. Nicholas Sparks for romance .

I still love to received postcards if you have some you want to give away or trade that have no writing on the back of them..

I do love old jewelry, especially brooches maybe your grandma had or a good find at a thriftstore. Mostly glitzy ones.

People who commit to a project but disregard it. Cheats, people who say one thing and will do the opposite. Takers instead of givers. I HATE IGNORANCE AS IT IS SO EASY TO BE SWAYED BY OTHERS WHEN YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW THE TRUTH. People who are rude and make up their own rules about what they receive from other swappers.

People who falsely accuse others of wrong doings. God help them!

I also like to give newbies a chance as we were all new at one time as long as they have a good profile listed and not just a sentence. Swappers who at one time did poorly in swaps but now are doing great I give chances to also and I have not been disappointed.

April 17 2010, I had to put my beloved sweet Miss Kitty to sleep. She was 20 yrs. old and hurting. It was a difficult choice to make. . 11/10/08 I had a darling boston terrier that I adore and she was 16 yrs.August, Petie, short for Petunia. Pets are wonderful but losing them quite difficult.

Rescued another Boston Terrier in 2009, Katie. Love them Boston's.

2013 I have a collection of Boston Terrier stuff that I have to many of and will be selling on etsy.

Mostly sewing now as I just love the color and prints fabric has.

Find making quilties fun. There are like small quilts that can be sewn together to make a wall hanging. Gives me incentive to make a lapquilt .Prefer to do small stuff rather than large quilts as I am not a perfectionist,and I get intimidate by them. I need instant gratification in my work and large quilting takes too much time.

Love doing quilt blocks using selvages from fabric or making string blocks. Have made a top of a lap quilt out of selvage stringts, love it. Going to do another. I have made lap quilts for all my grandchildren - Whew! Thats done now on to myself. But how many can a person have? I entered into a Sketchbook Challenge which is fun to do also. Each month has a different challenge.

I have a wax and stamp kit that I like to use to seal envelopes sometimes. I would enjoy receiving anything connected with that too.
