Last day to signup/drop:November 18, 2012

Number of swap partners:1
Description:

For this swap you will make one ATC for your partner. The only requirement is that the ATC has to have a piece of a book page on it somewhere, either as the background or as an element in the artwork. Senders choice, so you can make your ATC before partners are assigned. ALL ATCs are 2.5"x3.5" in size. No exceptions!

Use only real book pages, no copies/printouts from books, text from magazine pages, or rubber stamp images that are made to look like real book pages. The words can be in any language (the ATC in the picture is made with a book in Norwegian!). Whatever else you put on your ATC is up to you, just be sure there is a real book page in there somewhere!

No rating requirement for this swap, but that does not mean that I'm not going to remove questionable swappers before partners are assigned ;P New, unrated swappers are allowed, as long as they seem to know what an ATC is. No mentions of ATCs in the profile text will get unrated swappers banned (rated swappers need not worry about that, only their ratings and other questionable behavior).

Help! I am using dictionary pages for my series, and I suddenly got worried that does not count as an actual book page!

Lexidh 11/19/2012 #

Don't worry, dictionaries are books too!

Can you tell me what is expected on the back of an ATC card? (Newbie:)

I was surprised to see that swap-bot's glossary does not say anything about this, but at least a name or id of some sort and a date is encouraged. I like to put "--ATC--" (or postage stamp ATC, or bookpage ATC) on the top with my signature, swap-bot id (and say it what it is!), date (at least year) and "USA" (when mine are made in the USA). If it is made for a specific swap, I may also say "originally for xxx". I title my ATCs about half of the time. Other places give very specific details on what they want to see.
