This is round 2 of this swap, except this time it is open to the public. I hope you join us!

hoppyloo 03/18/2008 #

Im guessing that this is US only? Would love to join if its international :) ... pretty please?!

VJP 03/18/2008 #

Yes, I have made it international. I hope it does not cause any of the current participants to drop.

Wonderful! i love teacups. My granddaughters and I are trying to collect enough to have a real English tea party!

VJP 03/18/2008 #

Ok..I must share..My little autistic granddaughter has learned to say "tea party" "Nana, tea party". She just gets soooooo excited when I take out her special little purple pansy, china tea party set. It's our special time to celebrate and pretend...which for an autistic 2-1/2 year old is AMAZING!!!

NieceDenise~ I hope you get what you need to complete your set!!

My cup and saucer dont have to be regular sized. Smaller demi-tasse ones would be fine. Either one, I am fine with either.

I was looking through my catalog from Stash tea and there are several tea party sets for kids as well as a book and a game on tea parties just for kids. soooo many things in there besides tea!

I'm looking forward this swap!

:-( I really want to do this swap, but I don't think I can afford international postage anytime soon. Would you host a US only version of this swap, or mind if I did?

LoveMyFonts 04/15/2008 #

Are there any teacup swaps without minimum swap requirements? I'd love to do this but I've never participated in a swap before.

VJP 04/16/2008 #

LoveMyFonts~ Because this tends to be a more costly type of swap, it will be hard to find one without minimum swap requirements. But once you have established yourself as a great swapper with a proven swapping track record, you will be able to join the higher dollar swaps. I know it's tough to be patient and work up to those, but that really is about the only way to do it.

Hang in there....

Im so sorry, I have to drop this swap - and I SO didnt want to - have been hanging on til the last minute, but finances do not allow for swaps like this at the moment :(

Have fun girls :)

I love, love, love that you made this international. That is all I need to join this swap. There are so many "high expectation" swaps that are geographically restricted and it is so refreshing to see a coordinator who is willing to make one that is open to the world.

I just announced on the forums that I am going to give away one of my lovely teacups from my collection of 120ish. I will put the names of all the swappers who send by the deadline into a hat and draw one name. So, be sure to send your swaps and send them on time to qualify for this drawing!!

I just had to join.My first swap in 2006 was a teacup and saucer swap. That is a generous incentive,VJP

I see this is the 2nd Teacup and Saucer swap. Awesome! If you make a 3rd and I have more ratings by then, I would love to join! ^^

mommieof3boyz 06/18/2008 #

OH DARN!!! I missed this one.... Could you please host it again. I missed the cut off date by two days...boo hoo. Please, PLEASE do this swap again!

niecedenise 07/27/2008 #

Mailed mine on the 15th with delivery confirmation and it still hasnt arrived at my partners home.

niecedenise 08/22/2008 #

Well, my package came back yesterday. My partner didnt go to the po to claim it. So now I spent $9 to mail it, also for delivery confirmation and insurance. And to top it off it came back with $6 postage due. Grr. I just hope I dont get a 1 since she didnt claim it!
