Description:

Matryoshkas are just so cheerful and companionable ... in the Northern climes, we can just use a little cheerful companionship in February! Make something wonderful and companionable and very ... Matryoshka for your partner! Any medium, but let's put a lot of heart into it, it is February!

In order to expand the opportunities for participating in this swap, I have extended the signup and swap dates, and also will open this swap to those who wish to purchase something handmade or partially handmade that is very MATRYOSHKA to exchange.

So, to summarize: Send one matryoshka creation, handmade by you or bought by you as a handmade item, to one partner. It should be something as wonderful as you can make/ find!

Please include a little note or doodle (your choice) with your swap!

Have a few swaps completed, great ratings or a reasonable explanation, and I will angel for this swap, but as always prefer that everyone send their swaps out -- it's more fun that way!

Happy Matryoshka February! And, hey! If you have some great links for creative matryoshka dolls, post them below!

do you have to make it? Or if you have something matryoshkas that's purchased would it be acceptable

I'm usually all about the swapper-made swaps, but I am thinking it might be nice to open this one to non-mass-produced matryoshka things ... because I'd like everyone to be able to receive a little matryoshka joy ...

What do potential participants think about this? Handmade or partially handmade but not made by swapper OK?
