Description:

This swap is in lieu of the ones Chantal B has set up in the past (and info is copied from her). However, since I'm not sure which number she left off with, I started these with 01.

Although this is a series of square swaps, feel free to join in at any time! It's fun to put the squares together and create something out of them, when you have swapped enough.

This is an International swap!

Squares are to be 6"x6" (6 inchx6inch)

Any color, any style (this means it doesn't have to be a traditional granny square style).

You may ask your partner if they are looking for a particular color of square.

Another note: Please remember that there are those out there who do not have a wide variety of colors to choose from to knit or crochet. We will try to get the colors to what you are requesting in the comments, but please remember, yarn does cost money, and not everyone has the money to buy new colors on a whim.

Final Note: 1 square per partner (Each of you will have 2 partners). If you wish to send more than one, you ROCK!

Must have 4.85 rating. Newbies welcome! This is a great opportunity to get your ratings built up. Please do not be a flaker!

Is there a preferred type of yarn for these? Should I use acrylic, cotton, wool? When I was a kid, my grandmother made me a lovely granny square vest. Only after washing it did we discover that she had used wool for some squares and acrylic for others. :D Same for my pink ripple afghan. God bless her heart.

You can use any type of yarn! Acrylic seems to be the most universal, but it is ultimately your choice.

Swappers, if you have participated in previous swaps, please remember to go back and rate swappers, once you have received your squares. This is how we build great swap reputations! :)

I am a newbie but have yet to be rated. I have sent off my first swap so I should be rated soon. I am also ready to send my second swap. I would love to join but don't want to be banned because of no rating. I have already had that happen even though they stated newbies welcome. I have been crocheting since I was ten years old and self taught on knitting when I was forty. Let me know if I can join or if I have to wait
