Hello mail art lovers! Do you, like me, love making envelopes but after making 20 plain and easy ones you get bored? Why not try a challenge? I will give you a task and then you will interpret it as you like!

Challenge #2: Think Outside The Square

For this swap, we will make two beautiful envelopes of any shape except the regular square/rectangular. Triangular? Star-, banana-, Miffy-shaped? Anything goes! Don't forget to decorate it with taste. Please use real stamps to mail it and not a barcode sticker from the post office. Inside, incude a little note for each of your partners sharing some simple technique (or a piece of practical advice) you use in mail art that makes your works stand out. Also, add some ephemera you like to use in paper crafts. Every creative detail of this swap is sender's choice.

Again, no newbies, min. 5 Type2 swaps completed, 4.95+ rating, will angel.

I hope this swap will be a truly inspiring experience for everybody! :)

There is going to be a new challenge every three weeks.

Don't forget that an irregular shaped envie costs more to mail. According to the USPS website, irregular shaped envelopes cost 66¢ within the US and $1.30 Internationally for the first ounce. You might want to take the envelope into the post office to make sure you have the correct postage on it.

That is a very good point, Gingerlei, thank you! Please make sure to use the right postage as your partners may get upset if they have to pay upon delivery.
