I always liked that little wedding saying and I thought this would be a fun/cute/silly/enjoyable swap!

Swap name is basically self explanatory

.You will send your partner FOUR items.

Something old- maybe a DVD, book, some old cool old photos (send a few), really anything that's old to you but new to someone else. Make sure it's in good condition and something you'd like to receive! Literally anything of yous that you would like to pass on. Don't buy it. Check out your partners profile for refernce if you'd like.

Something new- A small profile surprise for your partner. Can be anything $5-$7 max.

Something thrifted- Can be anything. Any cool thrift store find or something you have previously thrifted that you think your partner would enjoy.

Something blue- Well, send something blue! Anything! Senders choice but something like a blank blue card and envelope doesn't count. Be creative!

U.S. only but feel free to create an international if you'd like.

Just a little bit of trivia:

The rhyme originated in England.

The rest of the wedding tradition saying goes: "A sixpence in your shoe."

Sixpences were minted in England between the 17th and 20th centuries (discontinued in 1971). They were also used in 17th century Maryland (USA).

Something old represents continuity; something new offers optimism for the future; something borrowed symbolizes borrowed happiness; something blue stands for purity, love, and fidelity; and a sixpence in your shoe is a wish for good fortune and prosperity.

I'm so excited for to swap! This totally gives me an excuse to go thrifting..

Is this newbie friendly? I'd like my girlfriend to join - if she can.
