Description:

Did the title get your attention? I hope it didn't scare you. For this envie you will do something that you have been "itchin" to try, but haven't gotten around to yet. It could be experimenting with a new technique, using some supplies (pens, ink, etc.) you haven't used before, using a combination of colors you have not tried before, trying a new zentangle pattern, anything along that line. The sky is the limit. Obviously, this is totally sender's choice. Decorate both sides, using as much of the envie as you can. As always, include a flat surprise. And most of all, have fun with this one!

Tonight I experimented with a new technique. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as well as I hoped, so it's back to the drawing (crafting) board.

What was the tech.? @LizzyJo what did u do and how did it turn out? I am curious..... I bought some liquid starch and want to try the marbleizing (sp.?) like the instructions I have on my Flickr under my favorite of the pink marbleized pic! Has anyone done that yet? Does anyone know how to spell it??? LOLOh ;-)

anrtist----I tried doing a wax paper resist (using embossing folders and an iron.). Where I went wrong was using plain card stock instead of gloss (since I didn't have any.) I guess I will have to invest in some gloss card stock and try again, because the image on the plain stock was very faint. I have tried marlelizing years ago with my daughter when she got a kit for a gift. I would think it would be the same as using liquid starch. It was great fun.
