I am an artist and I enjoy painting, calligraphy,making jewelry, beadwork ,quilting, and faux finishing. I'm into tyedye and love liquid blue T's! I LOVE THE BEACH & all things beachy!!! My fave colors are pinks, purples, teals(peacocks colors) & aqua.I love magenta! RICH colors...I also like black & white together(ZEBRAS are awesome!!!) I like cool colors. Love metallic highlights too,Gold in this is ok! Let me repeat again...I LOVE LOVE LOVE PEACOCKS AND THEIR FEATHERS BEST! Our bedroom is decorated in them, paintings(I have a great collection going from swap-botters!), arrangements, stained glass, masks, jewelry, beaded shawls, etc...I am a glittergirl and bohemian at heart!

RED, YELLOW, SPRING GREEN AND COBALT BLUE! Vintage everything, I collect cobalt glass and cobalt enamel covered cast iron muffin pans. Kitchen Colendars (especially enamel) RIGHT NOW I am in search of an aluminum one with the 5 pointed star design to go with my Wyatt Waters painting called COLENDAR ART from the SOUTHERN PALLETT ART AND COOKBOOK! This is it! :

Let me know if you can help me find it! I also like vintage cookie cutters, coffee cups and pots, tea cups and strainers, my table is white enamel with red floral trim and center design. The chairs are vintage restaurant red and chrome. My hoosier is the red trim enamel Pennsylvania Dutch sweetheart and I have the Jelly Cubbard to match.It is also decorated with APPLES! I also like vintage COCA-COLA items, red handled kitchen gadgets, and victorian style antiques. Lace and doilys always welcome here!

I collect crosses, the initial C (Would luv a wooden one decorated by you!!!) Peacock,Flamingo & Zebra items and original art. if you would handpaint me something i would love it! Please do not send anything gothic or evil-looking. I am a Christian & Crosses are GREAT! I have a cross collection on a wall with all types of crosses ;-) Thanx to all my friends and swapbotfriends I now have 17!!!!
I also like the christian fish symbol and the fire of the Holy Spirit symbol. Another symbol I like is the Fleur de Lis...and Paisley Prints, especially Patterned Paisley Prints! I also LOVE GLITTER ~ especially HOLOGRAPHIC! ED HARDY Designs Welcome Here! ;-)

Please try to use postage stamps.... I have been collecting them for years and love to get vintage and foreign ones...and i love doin the canceled stamp swaps! Currently i am loving the new dragon in the chinese new year series...if you have one please use it on my swap or if going to the p.o. please ask them to put the dragon stamp because i want to make some ROLOS with them! THANX!!!

If you want to do a private swap please let me know! In fabric choices I LOVE all BRIGHT COLORS with METALLIC ACCENTS on it or glitter(sparkles) on the fabric! I like ARTSY fabric like tye dye look or watercolored..or batik look! In bright & pretty colors! And of course Peacock & Zebra fabric!

;-) I have also decided to make 3 Different SB Ragquils....I Have a Stash of BLACK&WHITE with RED Squares & BATIK SQUARES & Then a multi colored quilt with all the orher rag quilt squares I have received! ;-) Then for regular pieced quilts I have a stash from the animal quilt square swaps and my gorgeous peacock themed squares and extra fabric I have found & been sent! These are my favs ;-)

I have gotten so many beautiful and interesting peacock quilt squares as extras that i am now putting together a peacock quilt!!! Blocks can be ANY SIZE! I discovered the ALTERED ROLODEX! (Aug 2011) ...Check out the groups...A.R.T. THEY ARE AN AWESOME, COMPACT WAY TO COLLECT & DISPLAY ART!
Altered Rolo Cards are made out of heavier Cardstock than the ones U buy. Just use those as patterns to cut out your own and embellish! The great thing about rolos is you can extend ur design or embellishments up to an inch above the top! They are so much fun & they give u freedom to create! ;-)

SO, THINK OUT OF THE ATC BOX! Create Rolos ;-)

Just WANNA throw this out there for everyones info...since we all don't really KNOW each other...so everyone will know this about me. And I wouldn't want anyone to avoid a swap thinking I wouldn't want their creations. Even though I do sell paintings and murals, I luv it when I get someone's 1st painting!!! I have gotten several 1st attempts at paintings, ATCs & Rolos...and I have some framed and hanging right next to professional museum quality artwork in my home! I have taught children & Disabled Veteran's art classes (Many of these big ole men that have never done any art in their life, & it is so great to put a brush in their hand and see them get lost in the creativity and the canvas!)You would be so surprised to see what they do, & I encourage them to enter the national VA Art Competition (And many have won!) & i LUV TO get their work when I can. I am not one to be picky about partners and just wanted to throw that out here so u all will get to know me better ;-)
