Since fall is here, except in Houston, lets use brown buttons, any variation. If there is continuing interest, I will host a series of color & holiday flowers. Although the swap is named "Dictionary Flower Buttons", you can punch or die cut ANY sturdy cardstock, printed paper, book pages, whatever, except newspaper (due to archival quality) or use store bought flowers. Challenge but not required: perhaps somehow incorporating a leaf into the flower??
Make sure the flowers are at least one inch but no bigger then 2.5 inches & lets use a couple of layers please. If you use 1" small flowers, make 8, otherwise lets go with 6. No more than 2 buttons can have the same paper. Please cut the shanks off the buttons, if possible, in order for them to lay flat against the flowers. The buttons can be glued or sewn onto the flowers. The completed flowers should be put on used acetate, a transparency sheet or sturdy cardstock with small glue dots or whatever medium you feel will work in order to ship.
Remember we are the queens of craft & know these should be made using quality materials and be sturdy!!!!!

Check out the video. For shipping purposes I'd skip the "poofing" & leave that to the recipient.
