This would be my first alphabet postcard so does this mean that I can send a card with picture of something that starts with the letter N? Like night? And if that's the way to do this does it have to be an English world?

Yes, the "night" would work for this swap and since it is International, foreign language is acceptable, just be sure and translate for anyone who does not speak your language, :)
