NOTICE As of today, 3-6-2010, I will be cutting down on my swaps. This makes 2 times now that I have had issues with people rating "1's" without giving me a chance to resend. As most of you know, I am a very "proud" swapper. I try VERY hard to please my partners and I have never flaked on anyone. In all the time I have been swapping, I sent one swap out late due to personal reasons and I believe I made up for it being send 2 days late. If people are not going to be considerate before rating, as I have always been, then I don;t feel comfortable in the community. This 3 is undeserved as it met the swap requirements. The original swap was sent on time, the resend, of course was late. I have never treated anyone this unfairly and think it is wrong for others to do so. I will continue to assist and organize swaps for the groups that I am an officer and I will participate in swaps that I feel the other swappers are fair people, but I will not have my good reputation tarnished by people who are not considerate or who feel the need to rate unfairly. Hi, I am 49 years old, married with children. I have lived in Tampa, Fl. for the last 25 yrs. I originally hail from Chicago. I host many swaps and the thing that I have found so irritating is so many swap coordinators wait for days before assigning partners. I make it a point to stay up till after midnight to assign partners on the expiration day of the swap. I know there are many of you, like myself who join many swaps and need to get swaps sent in order to join more. OK, off my soap box, just felt the need to vent, :) I love to collect postcards and love just about any of them. I also collect fridge magnets from the different states and countries. I like "shot glasses" from foreign countries also. I am an avid Hard Rock Cafe fan, and there is not much I won't do for a magnet from there. I love ANYTHING monogrammed with the letter "K". Stationary, note cards, magnets, bookmarks, stickers, key chains, scarfs ANYTHING! I have been on postcrossing for over a year and have sent over 200 cards out. I am open to any swaps for Florida "stuff". I collect souvenirs from all over the world and am happy to trade collectibles, ie: key chains,magnets,thimbles etc. or anything else one might want from Florida. I am a HUGE supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness!! I "talk the talk" but I also "walk the walk". Anyone wanting Ad postcards,let me know, I have a ton of them you are more than welcome to, no strings attached. I send my swaps out usually within 2 days, unless I am looking for something very special. I try and keep a wide variety of things on hand in themes that seem popular, so I am ready to send upon partner assignment. Every once in a while I do get a partner that has a favorite that I do not have, then I go "in search of" even ordering off the web if necessary. I admit, if you don't list what you like, I send what I like, LOL I read each and every profile for every partner I get and you can be assured that in your package there is something you mentioned on your profile. If you don't think so, go back and read your profile. I only send top quality, name brand items in my swaps and would hope others would do the same. You can find great stuff at low prices at a variety of stores. So if you have not heard from me regarding my swap, please contact me before leaving a bad rating. I can resend if necessary. I do not do ANY crafts. I have no clue how to scrapbook and I don;t even know what an ATC or INCHIE is.(Would love to see an INCHIE though, I might try that.)

I just discovered that I LOVE peppermint tea!!! Now I have started collecting the "smashed pennies" it looks like fun!!

I love country music of all kinds. My favorites are Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt and Tracy Lawrence. A little Keith Urban never hurts either. I have attended many live performances and love the thrill of a live audience. I still like a little of the old rock from the 70's & 80's but not into the rock of today. Stevie Ray Vaughan ROCKS! You folks from Texas are so blessed!

I go through spells with reading. At times I will read 3 books a week, then not pick up another one for months. I love Templar novels as history amazes me. I love Steve Berry, Kathleen McGowen and Jack Whyte. I also like biographies. The Kennedy family, Princess Diana are favorites. Strong people with much tragedy, lessons to be learned on how to overcome heartbreak. I have began to get into religious mystery novels. The mystery type where someone is searching for a lost religious relic and of course someone is trying to stop them, :)

I love action films and historical documentaries. I am 1/2 Cherokee so "Dances with Wolves" is a big favorite. I also like Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones & Chuck Norris. Johnny Depp is probably one of the best actors I have ever seen and really does not get the credit he is due. His film "The Libertine" is a prime example of his acting ability. And have you seen Public Enemies??? OMG!!!

Right now I love the series "HOUSE"! Also a big fan of all the Law & Orders, CSI's & Family Jewels. I don't really have a lot of time for TV. I do make time for Supernatural. :)

I love Football!! I am a HUGE Buccaneer fan. Football season finds me Sunday afternoon in front of the TV watching the game. I also love the Tampa Bay Rays and have attended several games this season. I collect postcards of all the sports arenas around the world but USA football fields are my favorites.

I LOVE live theater. I have just recently discovered how much better it is than movies. I have seen "Jesus Christ Superstar" several times and that really got me started on expanding my cultural education. Since then I've seen "Phantom of the Opera" twice and just recently I seen "Rent". I have every intention of seeing more. I can't wait till "Jersey Boys" "Wicked" and "Rain" come back to town.

I love all postcards but my favorites are state related. I am collecting the state "things" meaning bird, flag, seal,flower, tree etc. I also like buildings or places that have some history behind them. I love the large letter ones that say the name of the state on them, no city, just the state. I like cards with recipes from your area on them too. Universities, museums, military forts,airports and anything with a patriotic theme, old presidential homes etc. Lighthouses from around the world are very welcome. I need Capital buildings for Alaska,Montana, New Hampshire,New Mexico. Of course, UNESCO are always appreciated.

Animal cards I am not too fond of except owls & wolves.

I am in Florida. If I receive a partner in the same area, I WILL contact you on if you want a Florida card or something else. I have over 300 postcards for trade, and many states. I know I do not like to get post cards from Florida or Disney, as I have soooo many of them already.

Things I like: ANYTHING from the Hard Rock Cafe or House of Blues I collect carousel horses. Anything monogrammed with the letter "K" I use tons of 4x6 laminating sheets, I make postcards with smashed pennies in them and then laminate them. Always happy to get them. Celestial items. I love the sun, moon & stars theme. Smashed Pennies Bath products, especially shower gels & body spray. Bath & Body Works are my favorites and "clean" scents. Starbucks! Can't live without it. Blank DVD's, I do a lot of recording Burgundy Fridge magnets with the US States on them, or foreign countries Paula Deen-She's the bomb! Fuzzy socks, being a diabetic, these are a must Burt's Bees Products-all of them Candles Wind chimes Johnny Depp Princess Diana John F. Kennedy incense mints in collector tins Anything related to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Any product that supports Breast Cancer Awareness Bookmarks(the kind in plastic sleeves) Criss Angel Dog the Bounty Hunter Candy coated sunflower seeds

And for those of you in Canada---TIM HORTON'S COFFEE!! That is the BEST coffee and we cannot get it here in the states!
