Description:

This is a big craft for the paper junkies and craft fanatics among us!

For this swap you will make a gift box full of handmade tags.

The box must include:

  • at least 30 tags of at least 2 sets. The minimum number of tags in 1 set is 5. So: you may make 2 sets of 15 tags, 3 sets of 10 tags, or 6 sets of 5 tags, but no sets with fewer than 5 tags.

  • at least 30 craft materials to make tags (like a tag kit). No more than 5 of the same materials.

Organize it neatly, make it a real gift box. You may use a box you already have and decorate it, or you may make one yourself. Decorations are not mandatory but make it nice looking. Also, the box can be flat so it fits through the mailbox, and it won't be charged as a parcel. If you can manage to arrange your items in such a way that's it's still neat and like a gift box, feel free to use flat boxes! You get a lot of time (2 months!) to send it out.

Oh, and yes, shipping costs. Shouldn't mind those if you want to join.

Ratings: 4.95, no recent and/or unexplained 1s or 3s, and at least 10 Type 3 swaps completed.

Will there be a US ONLY version of this?

Pointless, I'm from the Netherlands.

I thought this a fabulous idea, though the 30 items to make tags threw me though. Just to let you know, a lady was sending me her swap- a gift of some simple items "in a box" the sum came to $30US! if she had put it in an envelope it halved the cost. I really do not like harping on about costs but the larger swaps make me baulk. Might have to watch.

Maybe it's an idea to send it in a flat box. You know, those flat boxes in which photos are sometimes sent. Since they fit through the mailbox they won't be charged as parcels. It doesn't have to be a big box. If you can fit all the items in a flat box that's fine as well. :) I'll add this to the description.

I would love to see what participants made and sent...I am new here, is there somewhere where people share photos of items sent/received?
