Random Acts of Happiness: Round 2
Swap Coordinator:VivaLaDiane (contact)
Swap categories: Challenges
Number of people in swap:112
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:May 26, 2014
Date items must be sent by:June 23, 2014
Number of swap partners:5

This is the second round of this swap back by popular demand.

The swap is to cut 10 strips of paper (preferably plain printer paper in a light color: white, yellow, pink, orange) and easily foldable for our jars. On each of those pieces of paper you will write something happy, encouraging, thoughtful, etc. It can be a quote. It can be a tasteful joke. It can be personal note. It should only be a sentence or two so that it can be legible. And yes, it can even be printed/typewritten.

You will do this 5 times as you will have 5 partners (10 strips each).

When you receive your strips, fold them and put them into your jar (you make this on your own) without reading them. When you need a moment of happiness, you will have several to go to.

The last day to sign up for this swap is Memorial Day in honor of my father who served in the United States Army. Please be kind for anyone who has given of themselves for the freedom of others.

You must have a filled out profile (2 or three sentences and/or paragraphs won't do). You must not have unresolved 1 ratings. You must be regularly logging in with no overdue swap issues.

Please ask any/all questions in advance of joining.

Just a note: please make sure your envelopes are string/reinforced around the edges. I had one that was ripped and empty.

I have assigned partners. As with the first round, I vetted on the nice side but if users had unresolved 1s or no profiles, they weren't able to join this round. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. ♥♥

VLD: as with last round, if you need me, you can contact me! :) I'll send as many as you need!

just to let my partners know, I actually prefer deep and dark colors. I don't mind religious proverbs. I would say that writing on dark paper with a light colored pencil or gel pen would be awesome.

Could those of you who participated in round 1 share how you rated your partners? I've received the first strips of paper, but don't want to look at them now, as this would take away the surprise when I draw them from the jar at a later stage...

yureebok 06/12/2014 #

@Aankee I rated based on if there were at least 10 strips of paper with a note (just username and swap name). Anything beyond that wasn't necessary, but very nice. If you don't want to look at them now, then I'd say just make sure that there's something written on a few of them without reading them.

Makes sense, thank you @yureebok !

Only 1 user has not sent ( @uncertainvoyage ) . I will be angelling as partners rate her which is available 7/7/2014.

Keruka 07/ 8/2014 #

Rated @uncertainvoyage a 1. Was the first bad rating I have had to give =(

NurseTank 07/12/2014 #

I didn't get stuff from two of my partners. Uncertain was one of them.

VivaLaDiane 07/22/2014 #

I have angelled for all 5 partners flaked on by @UncertainVoyage . I also reached her on Twitter and expressed my lack of appreciation for the flaking and she claims she didn't flake. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay.
