This swap is for a Spring haiku, written by you on a postcard and mailed naked (without an envelope) to your swap partner. It is to be in the traditional 5-7-5 syllable style, like the example above.

The postcards can be store bought or handmade. If they are handmade, make sure they are sturdy, please. The front of the postcard can be any theme or image. It is sender's choice.

Your haiku can be about anything spring related, including things you personally love about it, even though it may not be something everyone associates with spring.

So, have fun and enjoy a little bit of creative writing!

If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments below or send me a message.

This swap is open to newbies with a filled out profile. I will be checking profiles for questionable swappers.

This is an international swap and I will angel if is needed.

I am hosting a series of haiku postcards in Cup and Chaucer, so if you feel the need to write more, please consider joining the group!

so any postcard is fine, and the haiku written on the back yeah? or the haiku on the "picture-side" of the postcard?

Yes, any postcard will be fine. As for the haiku, most people choose to write it on the back, but if it is on the front, that is fine, too. Just make sure it can be mailed naked.
