We will knit/crochet a potholder using any pattern simple or not depending on your time and talent. Hopefully this will not be your first attempt at either knitting or crocheting. Pot holder should be made of cotton and be double-sided so you will not burn your hand. This should be made to be used and not just for decoration. Must have a well-filled out profile and no 1's or 3's in the last year. You will have 2 partners and send one potholder to each with your swap name so they can rate you. Any questions, please ask. You will have more than one month to make your masterpieces.

Is it sender's choice, or should we make the potholders profile-based?

Momskii 06/ 4/2014 #

It's sender's choice, but you can look @ profile. You may not have enough time if you wait for profile, but it's your choice. thanks for asking

I'm a quilter and make Brrry Nice Potholders out of 100% cotton sweaters, Insulbrite and quilter's cotton. I know they're not knit or crocheted by me, but the sweaters I use were originally knit from yarn...could this qualify in some gray area?

Momskii 06/27/2014 #

yes, as long as it is handmade I will accept it.

Just to let everyone know that I am traveling through Connecticut and won't be able to respond to messages until late July. If you have mailed your items, I will rate you when I return as I am not getting my mail till I return. thanks to everyone for your patience
