Description:

This is a USA swap only. Feel free to host your own international one.

ALSO - there are a couple of swappers that sometimes join my swap that are from Canada, but have a USA address too. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PARTNERS PROFILE

This is a newbie friendly swap. It should be extremely easy to do as long as you follow the guidelines below. Experienced swappers are also welcome.

Get a cute tote like the one in the pic. (Handmade or store bought) NO PLASTIC OR PAPER BAGS. Just choose three different things from the list below, put in the tote and send to your partner child before the deadline.

Coloring book and a small box of crayons - Halloween or anything related to Halloween, pirates, ghosts, etc.

1 sheet of stickers - none smaller than a US penny

a small Halloween puzzle

an age appropriate book - gently used is fine

a small wrapped treat - ie: fruit snacks, small pkg cookies, etc

A handmade Halloween item

a gender appropriate toy

a small Halloween craft kit they can do alone or with adult help

glue sticks/ bottle of kids glue

colored pencils

markers

drawing pad

a roll of tape

bottle of bubbles

a package of sidewalk chalk

play food

a package of tattoo's

a paint set

This is all I can think of right now....if you have any suggestions add them to the comment section below and I'll add them to the "official" list.

What to do:

Choose three different things that are on the list and send to your partner's child by the deadline. They must be different - example: DO NOT send 3 puzzles. This does not count. And no, a handmade puzzle DOES NOT count as 2 items. This is not a profile based swap but it DOES have to be gender related. Check your partner's profile as a lot of swap-botters have their kids likes listed there. You may have to contact your partner to find out the age of their child and name. (Addressing the package to the child would be great...my grandson loves to get mail that is just for him.)

Newbies welcomed, with a well filled out profile (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). No recent/unexplained low ratings. NEW Apparently, I now need to add the following: If you are going to be gone within 3 days of partners being assigned and not able to check into swap-bot then you need to contact me and let me know so I don't ban you from the swap. Frankly, I thought this was just good manners, but apparently not.

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville", Michigan and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.

Also I will NOT be able to angel this swap....but who would be low enough to flake on a child?

Is there an age limit on this? My daughter is 12 and she has been asking me about joining a swap like this.
