Description:

This swap is for speakers of German only! Whether you're still learning, or you're a native speaker, if you speak German you can join. For this swap you will send your partner a letter that is at least 2 A4 (8inch by 11inch, for you Americans) pages, written in German! You can write about whatever you want, and you might even find a new pen pal out of it.

If you are still a beginner in German, please make sure you can write the two page requirement without resorting to google translate. Two pages can seem daunting when you are just beginning a new language, so make sure you're up for the challenge of it.

Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. I will ban anyone who seems fishy.

Two questions.
1) should the pages be written on both sides?
2) I get why Google translate is out, but is it fine if we might need to consult a dictionary? I might be a little rusty...

Also typed-ones are possible?

Thespacequeen 02/27/2015 #

@oblivionspin : the pages do not have to be written on both sides. If you would like to write more, though, that's completely up to you. And yes, using a dictionary is perfectly acceptable! I just don't want people to write a letter in English (or whatever language) and then stick it through the translator, because translators don't work well for that type of thing. Looking up words if you're a bit out of practice is an entirely different thing :) @dreamlady66 : yes, typed letters are fine.
