See you in a year: time capsule/decorated envelope

This swap has a multi components, that involves some thought and effort, and therefore is a type 3 swap.

The idea is to send your partner a DECORATED envelope that contains:

1. A personal one page pen pal letter, typed or hand written .... talk about your present life and what you see happening to your or your country in one year.

2. A current news article, national or local AUG 2015. This can be cut from a newspaper or printed out from the internet.

3. SAS PC= A self addressed return Postcard with current postage stamps of 35 cents or 49 cents depending on the size of the PC.

4. One flat surprise, a bookmark, die cuts, another postcard, playing cards, stickers, etc. This is senders choice, but please read the profile of the person you are sending to. There is no way to verify that you are sending a profile based item, for a year, hence the senders choice.

5. One unused Forever postage stamp, just cause this is fun. It will be neat to see what new stamps come out in the coming year. A blast from the past.

Now here is the SEE YOU IN A YEAR part.

On the outside of the envelope write SEE YOU IN A YEAR. You will not open this envelope for a year. In one year AUG 2016, you can open this envelope. When you open this in a year, please find the SAS PC and write a message to your sender and drop it in the mail. Add extra postage if the cost of a PC goes up in a year.

You are to rate your partner a 5, as soon as the envelope arrives not in a year. You wont be able to verify the contents for one year so we are going on faith that all who sign up will be honest and include all 5 things.

If you anticipate that you will be moving in the next year, this might not be the swap for you. Because the SAS PC would not reach you.

If you do not anticipate being on Swap-bot in a year this also might not be the swap for you.

Please decorate the OUTSIDE of your envelope, aka mail art. Even a few stickers or washi tape, is fine.
