This will be a free themed / sender's choice ATC swap! Which means the sender can create anything to their heart's desires as long as it meets the swap requirements.

Swap rules - If you fail to follow any of these rules then your partner can rate you a 3. I've had too many complaints that now I have to enforce clearer rules in some of my swaps. Do everyone a favor and please read the following rules:

  • You will create 1 ATC; you can hand draw (paint, pencil, pen, etc.) or collage; even stitching your card with designs is acceptable.

  • No loose glitter on your ATC's or inside the envelopes.

  • Flat cards only. Nothing bulky (No seashells, glass, beads, etc. Unless you put the proper postage on it. These require about 3 stamps or a weigh in at the post office for thickness.)

  • Paper requirements - 110 lbs cardstock or thicker. (Partners have been receiving cards that are 50-60 lbs cardstock which is unacceptable and way too thin.)

  • Do not just glue on an image to a card, take your time with the cards you create- quality over quantity. You don't want a slapped together ATC, why would you send one to your partners? Take some pride in what you send out.

  • You MUST properly label the back of your ATC directly on the card- NOT on just a separate sheet of paper. This requires the name of the swap, your user name that you sign onto swapbot with, your signature, and the date or year. (Too many people are not getting rated because of this simple thing that people aren't doing.)

  • Completely fill out your profile - must contain your likes and dislikes, and be a minimum of 5 paragraphs long- regardless of your number of 5's and how long you've been here.

  • No recent 1's or 3's without good reason or with people who are still active where you can fix these ratings. I do check every single person's profile and ban accordingly even if you've been in my swaps before.

  • No unrated or newbie swappers.

Other than what is listed above, everyone who creates ATC's should know about proper postage, paper type and how to make collages without any problems. The rules above are for the ones who seem to join swaps without bothering to take a minute out of their time to make sure they're following the swap rules and guidelines.

I'm new so I'm confused. If we're making the card how are we supposed to make it like 110 lbs. Also what does atc mean and what is it.

@innejmay10 If you don't know what an ATC is, go to google.com and research it. Also, since you're new- you need to clearly read all the swap descriptions since I clearly state "No unrated or newbie swappers." 110lbs is the thickness of the paper. It says right on the artist paper or package what it is.

Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5".
