You shall have 1 partner and will be sending a journal that you have kept for a month. Below are 30 prompts. It doesn't matter how you keep your journal. Do as many prompts at a time if you'd like or just do 1 prompt a day. It's your journal.

Please Have a Completely Filled Out Profile. I will remove anyone who doesn't.

  • The journal can be store bought or handmade, but please make sure they are of a decent quality. Please make sure they are at least 5" x 7".

  • No one sentence entries. I can't make everyone write a certain amount, but at least 3/4 of a page would be awesome. More would be even better.

  • Make sure the swap title and your Swap-Bot ID is on the journal.

  • I reserve the right to ban people from this swap without an explanation.

I have a moleskin journal that is a few mm short of being 5"; is that alright?

thisisme 08/12/2015 #

@Morghandi - As long as it's not really noticeably smaller. Yes.

Terri07 08/20/2015 #

Do we do the prompts in order listed above?

thisisme 08/21/2015 #

@Terri07 - I would imagine that you wouldn't have to. It might be easier for the person reading your journal, but it's up to you.

Terri07 08/21/2015 #

Okey dokey, thanks. I guess it would make sense to keep them in the order listed. I was "thinking" too hard about it. LOL!!!

daydreamer47 08/25/2015 #

Wondering if its okay to write on extra paper if we fill the journal up? I tend to write a lot, these prompts are so thought provoking :D

thisisme 08/25/2015 #

@daydreamer47 - That would be fine. You are also free to make your own journal if you are a long writer..

This may sound like a silly question. So we fill out a journal answering the questions and then send it off to our partner. I think I am missing something here, but does your partner respond, read and/or keep the journal?

If I sign-up, which I am pretty sure I will, but I am new to this so perhaps everyone is familiar with this..

Thankyou for taking the time answering my question.

They keep the journal.

Tearryn 09/13/2015 #

Ohhh I was about to join until I saw that it's regional USA. Is there an international version of this swap at all? (:

Lindor1770 09/13/2015 #

I would also love to do a international version of this swap! :)

thisisme 09/14/2015 #

@Tearryn & Lindor1770 - I don't have an International Version posted right now. I'm hoping to post one after I get all of my current swaps done. I'll need to come up with different questions as well. :) Keep an eye out in the next week or 2. It should be posted then...
