Description:

I had an idea today: I think there might be a lot of us here at Swap-Bot who always scan or photograph artwork we've made for a swap before we let it out the door, and then save those images. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could spread the love by sending our past artwork to new people?

Here's the plan: You will have one partner. You will find Three different images you've scanned or photographed or copied from swaps you did in the past, and print them out as postcards on nice quality card stock or photographic paper. The artwork could have been created for ANY type of swap, but for this one you have to make postcards from it. You'll send all three of those cards to your partner, and the world will be a better place because more people get to see your work!

The only restriction on what kinds of artwork you can send is that it must be a document of an original artwork that you now no longer have in your house because you sent it to someone else.

Your cards must include the name of this swap and your username clearly printed on the back, and each card must include a message to your partner, possibly explaining about the past swap you created it for, or really saying anything you like! For this swap, because you are sending three cards to the same person, you can feel free to put them together in an envelope if you want, but that means you have to write a longer message to your partner on each card in the space where their address and the stamp would normally be!

The fine print:
This swap is INTERNATIONAL.
Cards must conform to standard USA postcard sizes - they must be between 3.5" by 5" and 4.25" by 6".
Must have a 4.5 or higher rating, or else contact me and explain your circumstances.
No newbies for this particular swap, since you're sending images of artwork you made in past swaps.

I would like to suggest we just do two for one person that extra one just adds to the postage believe me.

You can send three postcards in an envelope for 42 cents here in the US as long as they're not overly thick or bulky. So if you're worried about postage, you can just stick 'em in an envelope together.

Good thought, besides I like to write more on a postcard then usual.

Yeah, whenever I get to do a swap with cards in an envelope, I always get surprised that my super wordy stories actually get to be told in their entirety on the back of the card.

No one is signing up, don't understand that. This is really a good idea.

Yeah, makes me wonder if there are as many of us out there who scan every single thing we send as I assumed there were. Maybe I'll post a forum thread, though I might be lazy about checking back with it.
