This is a USA swap only. Feel free to host your own international one. What is a Pass and Paste Postcard? It is an index card or any stiff paper - 3x5 or 4x6 - anything over that takes a forever stamp. The "front" of the postcard is divided into 4 sections. Each section is numbered 1 through 4. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOURS LARGER!

The "back" of the postcard is divided in half, just like a regular postcard. Put your address in the address section so your card will return to you once it's been filled up. Divide the "writing" side into 4 spaces, numbered 1 through 4. Add a postcard stamp to it.

If you are just jumping in now: For this swap, you are going to use the above instructions and make a Pass and Paste Postcard. If you are making for yourself, then you don't have to decorate a spot. If it is for someone else, then you'll decorate and sign #1 spot.

If you have participated in previous swaps: send on the postcard you received previously. IF YOUR PARTNER HAS ALREADY SIGNED THE CARD OR IT IS ONE THAT WAS MADE FOR THEM, THEN CREATE A NEW CARD. (or you can contact me to see if I have any extras).

When partners are posted, you will mail the postcard to your partner in an envelope. This partner will decorate the next section and SEND IT ON in the next round. This swap is held 2 swaps within each month due to the fact that this is so easy. Anyone can jump in at any time too.

You can decorate using any medium, BUT you have to make sure that it is attached well. Zentangle, collage, painting, drawing - Also, you need to make sure that nothing is too big as the last person decorating will be sending this naked and it will have to go through the postal machines. If you glue a button on, it will probably not survive.

Please note that the medium and subject is SENDER’S CHOICE! I’ve been seeing a few cards that specify they be painted or follow a particular theme. If you’d like to start a Paint and Pass, or create a theme, feel free to start your own swap. I have surveyed participants, and those who responded agreed that not everyone is comfortable with being told to paint or draw. If you get a card that specifies a medium or theme, you are free to follow it if you choose, but please do not rate someone down if they choose not to follow that demand as that is not a requirement of this swap.

Finally, if you decide not to continue on PLEASE contact me and I will be happy to take the postcard you have.

If you know of a bad swapper signed up for this swap, I appreciate being informed, but please DO NOT post to the comment section! Send me a PM and I will deal with it that way

Does anyone out there have a PC belonging to me? I might have 1 or 2. Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing! I think I've started a new card the last few times, but haven't gotten one of mine back in quite a while.

I've sent out an email to participants from the last several times to see if we can shake some of these loose.

If you have one and you're not going to participate anymore, PLEASE send it back to me! PM me for my address. Thanks!

I am still participating but I don't have cards for either of you ladies.
