Description:

Send your one partner a store bought pc that has art as the main focus, sent naked (written on and stamped) in the theme of the week. Send an art pc that depicts an artistic photo of an ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT. NOT the full building. Please use images as an example and ask questions if needed.

Please remember that these should be on the artistic side not the touristy side. It might be a lovely beautiful artificial element but if it has the location or touristy stuff plastered all over the front it is NOT an art card.

Choose an art PC from your stash or a new shopping adventure. Hoping everyone is in a pleasant mood and plays nicely! Communication and chance for resend is obviously expected before a 3 rating.

42 ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT

No free/ad, nohandmade, not touristy!!!

Postcards can be store bought, museum bought, from a postcard box set, postcard perforated book set (neatly removed but may still contain perforated edge), from a postcard themed calendar (I bought a few of these in Germany, not sure if they are popular anywhere else? Cut neatly, of course) new or vintage. Zazzle and the like are also acceptable. Art can be drawing, illustration, painting, sculpture, design, photograph, collage, objet d'art, etc. It doesn't only have to be art from a museum it can be crafts, tiles, architecture, magazine and Book covers, movies, educational posters, other posters, children's book illustrations, reproduction. Vintage ads, etc. Some themes will be specific, such as lady, but. You can send abstract art if you can tell it represents lady/woman or if the title of the piece implies it. Other weeks the topic will be things like blue, or happy, or even a specific type of art or something about the artist. Art can be religious art-any religion and as this is sender's choice only sign up if you are open to receiving religious art. I know I have some to send I've bought in Church and Synagogue gift stores as well as in museums.

Besides museums, bookstores, you can find interesting art pc sets on Amazon, I know in Europe many church gift. Shops/counters sell artsy pcs. Either showing the inside or outside of the church. And sometimes pcs of the religious works in the church or of saints, etc.

International, going back to 4.98 rating, no unrated swappers, and all 1's & 3's explained/responded to/working on and I reserve the right to remove swappers if needed. Please only sign up if you're open to receiving a variety of art types as explained above, knowing some may be a bit different. I will angel if you need to rate your partner a 1 - contact me if that is happening. If I need to angel I will try my best to stay on theme but if I have no more that fit the theme I will do profile surprise art card as the angel the best I can.

Examples of ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS

Here, here etc!

I do realize the second example is an illustration or drawing not a photograph. I was just using it to demonstrate and Architectural element. The postcard should be a photograph.

Do built-in interior design like light fixtures count, or should they have their own swap?

Hmm interior versus exterior. Since I'm just seeing this now when I want to assign partners maybe I'd better leave it as senders interpretation. My examples did Lean more towards actual architecture of the building than Design Elements but I didn't really stress either one directly so senders interpretation.
