Description:

The Chinese Zodiac brings us the most fascinating stamps each year and this year we are celebrating the ROOSTER. The Chinese New Year starts on January 28th and you will have until that day to sign up for the swap.

This is a swap where only one person per country will participate. If multiple people from one country want to participate, I will create a second swap to accommodate the participation.

For this swap, you have one partner and you will send you partner at least one souvenir sheet from your country and it will be representing the Year of the Rooster. Currently Canada has two souvenir sheets for the occasion.

Below, remember to state from what country you are from.

As per Arpin Philately, a souvenir sheet has these characteristics:

1) "can contain only 1 stamp, but generally has 2 or more (especially if a series was issued) enclosed within a decorative design."

2) " A souvenir sheet usually has more artistic value; additional designs,"

3) "On a souvenir sheet, the stamp(s) is either the current denomination for the domestic rate, USA rate or international rate. When there is more than one stamp on a souvenir sheet, often times the denominations are different from one stamp to the other."

Have fun with this swap.
