Description:

For this swap you will send one new or established zentangle deco to one partner.

Some guidelines:
* Zentangle theme decos only.
* Please only send one deco unless your partner has told you they don't mind more.
* Don't send your partner a deco they've already had, or one FOR them.
* If you are making a new deco for this swap, make sure it has a reasonably nice, sturdy cover.
* Homers ARE allowed.
* Newbies are allowed with filled out profiles.
* Please decorate your page with a zentangle-style drawing.

I believe no one should host swaps they aren't willing to angel themselves. I will angel if necessary, but I screen participants very carefully to minimize the risk of flakers getting in. I will remove participants with poor ratings, late swaps, drama, nasty comments, or other swapping history that concerns me at my discretion. If you have any negative swapping history and want to participate, please proactively PM me to explain. Otherwise, I may ban you with no notice if I am suspicious. And I tend to be suspicious.

Because of delivery issues, multi-profiler/flaker concerns, and site policies I require real names. If you join a swap of mine with a fake name or no last name, you will be asked to fix it.

This swap is U.S. only on account of postage costs. If you want an international version, feel free to host your own. :)

According to the Swap-Bot Glossary: A deco is similar to a friendship book and there are a wide variety of types. It is a bound book of pages which are sent around the world. The person that the book is “for” is usually listed on the cover and when the book becomes full it is sent back to them. Each person that receives and signs the deco will decorate one page according to the theme of the booklet (if there is one) and put their postal/email address and sign their name. Typically, each entrant in the “deco” must use one full page to express themselves. Glitter, sequins, feathers and other scrapbooking supplies are frequently used in “decos.” Despite the artistic expressions used in these types of friendship books, the basic rules of passing the friendship book to person to person is the same.

If you are new to decos, I can try and explain them better. I suggest PMing or commenting on my profile to get my attention faster, I forget to check swap page comments as often as I should!

What's Zentangle?

Zentangle is a style of generally abstract pen drawings. I'd google it for a lot of good examples, or look at Pinterest. Zentangles are generally repetitive doodle type designs. It's a really fun, addictive art form but this might not be the ideal swap if you've never tried Zentangles!
