Description:

This swap is inspired by a thing I recently saw on Facebook (that I believe was floating around elsewhere), and had a lot of fun with it, so I thought I'd share :)

For this swap, you will use your partners' names to create a personalized playlist for them! In other words, you will select one song from your own playlist that starts with each letter of their name. So, for example, if you were partnered with someone named John, you could create a playlist that looked like:

  • Jingle Bells
  • One
  • Hallelujah
  • Nature Boy

You should include both the song name and the artist so your partner can find the songs and listen to them (all the better if you create an actual playlist for them to listen to! However, please be mindful of privacy settings as not everyone will want their names floating around.)

If you can't find a song that starts with the letter, get creative! You could look for an artist name, or, worst case scenario, try a different word in a multi-word title.

Ideally you should use your partners' first names, but if they have a short name you may want to use their full name or username. Or you could even create multiple playlists for multiple names for an added touch!

I will angel if there are flakers, but I would hope there won't be!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

@tiffkay - you'll be able to see your partners once they're assigned, after the signup deadline (Feb 23)
