Description:

Ever get tired of your favorite postcards that you don't want to send, but would love to receive just lying around? If so, sign up. Time to get those postcards sent to a partner and filled back out to make it home to you.

For this swap you'll send two postcards, one for your partner to keep and one for them to send back to you, addressed and pre-stamped so all they have to do is pop it in the mail within 3 days of receiving it!

I noticed there are several versions of this swap and they're all 5.0. I'm making mine 4.8, because my three was years ago and I'm still at a 4.99 because I took two years off swap-bot.

If this first one goes well, I'll create a series, if anyone is interested!

No recent 1's or 3's. No flakers. Newbies with a FULLY filled out profile welcome, I will be checking. I will angel if I need to, but I shouldn't have to as I read every profile thoroughly.

@druideye used to run a series of swaps similar to this under the name "P.S. Write Back".

I've hosted a couple under the name "Return to Sender" (most recently here: http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/238011 ).

Not quite the same as mine don't include the "one postcard for you" requirement, just the "one back to me", and I think druideye's were similar.

I think I've seen "one for you, one for me" in Swaps for Europe.

So I think this kind of thing is reasonably popular :)

I wish such swaps were world-wide -- even more fun to get a postcard sent back to you from Bahrain or Bahamas than just Pennsylvania, isn't it? But then of course you can't put a stamp on the postcard that you'd like back because you probably don't have Bahraini or Bahamiam stamps lying around.

@mandigutterrose also has a similar swap up right now here: http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/239549

Apparently that's #4 in an on-going series so you could consider coordinating with her!

That's awesome it's catching on! I love sending the extra one to your partner! @pne I'm about to go get on that right now!

@pne I realized why I didn't partner with her, she's only letting 5.0 rated people in hers. I had a three from like 5 years ago, it's so ridiculous.
