Description:

This is a perfect swap if you love making ATCs or pocket letters. You will take a 9 pocket plastic sleeve and fill it with supplies that your partner can use to make either ATCs or a pocket letter. Here's the catch - you must make it look nice without actually making anything. So, cut 18 ATC backgrounds with different Halloween type themes and place them back to back in each pocket - then fill each pocket, front and back, with things to make Halloween ATCs with. These can include stickers, washi tape samples, punch outs or stamped images, brads, ribbon, buttons, etc. Please NO foam shapes. Each pocket should have at least 5 different items in it. You can also include items that are black, orange or purple. You can choose to keep the entire project to one theme (Vintage, gothic, cute) or you can mix it up. The plan is that we are then going to have an ATC swap in September using the supplies you receive from this swap. This does not have to be profile specific, but please check your partners profile for dislikes. As always, this swap is for members in good standing only and I reserve the right to remove anyone I see fit.

What do mean by " each pocket should have at east 5 different items"? Do you mean the whole pocket letter or each individual pocket?

Sorry so late in answering your question - each individual pocket should have 5 items - so that could mean, front and back papers, a few stickers, a bit of ribbon, cut out shapes, washi tape sample, whatever you want to fill the pocket with. The idea is not to attach anything so that your swap partner can remove these items to use on ATCs or pocket letters of their own.

Hi, I'm brand new member and interesting in participating but have yet to be rated to qualify. Would you consider allowing me to participate pending review of my profile and if I send a picture of what I planned to exchange?

Illbet, I sent you a personal message.

I'm a bit confused....Are we supposed to "temporarily" attach the items that our partner can then remove to make an atc (ex: with washi tape)...The description says to make it look nice, yet I also see that you say to make sure nothing is attached, so our partner can remove them....Thanks

The items that go inside the pocket should not be attached at all, but should be placed inside the pockets neatly. This is not to be a finished pocket letter in any way, but it shouldn't look like you just shoved a bunch of junk in there. No bent stickers, washi tape should be mounted to a clear tape covered backing, small tiny items could be put inside of tiny envelopes (paper or tiny clear baggies) Each pocket should have 2 - 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" papers, facing front and back. Nothing should be attached to them. Everything else should slip in the front and backs of these. I hope this makes sense.
