My Husband, Will, has just been released from the hospital....again....meaning, 2 hopitalizations in the last 9 weeks! YIKES!...He has a serious, on-going illness that is potentially life threatening...Any well-wishes or prayers that you can send our way is deeply appreciated...Swap-Bot is one escape from the stress of 3 kids, 10 and under; doctor visits; working full-time; fighting with the insurance; dealing with the pharmacy, doctors, nurses, specialists, etc...I've met some great swappers and I love to send "Happy Mail" and try to make my swaps special. It also puts a smile on my face to see something in the mail with my name on it, other than a bill.....

My name is Kim and I am a 45 year old mom of 3 (Tyler almost 10; Hailee age 8 and baby Jaime, age 2 1/2). I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I've been happily married to Will for 15 years. I work full-time as an Optician.

I love Decos, Slams, Sticker Books and all types of bags. I also make crafty things, read, watch t.v., work out and eat junk food (although right now I am on a diet trying to lose my "baby" weight. LOL!)

I am a "Craft-a-holic" and have been doing some type of craft since I was 7 years old. I love doing pages in deco books, sticker books, making atcs, inchies, greeting cards, and mail art. I like incorporating a sense of humor in my work and I love making Zetti's (kind of strange looking characters...My last Zetti had a crying girl's face with a teddy bear body who was scared of onions that surrounded her. LOL!) I'd say my style is sort of collage, but I also use rubber stamps or draw by hand at times.

I love earth-tone colors: reds, rusts, browns, golden yellows, as well as black and silver.

I love making and swapping all types of bags and books: goodie bags, sticker bags, label bags, memo bags, surprize bags, etc. I love all types of slams and decos (except animal or cat decos I keep getting this same theme lately) I am also crazy about sticker books. I love decos with unusual themes. Some N&N Friendship Books are o.k as well, although I have a lot that I am trying to pass on right now.

I LOVE young adult (YA) novels with a mystery/horror theme. My favorite YA authors are: R.L. Stine (YA novels only), Christopher Pike and L.J. Smith. I also read paranormal romances on occassion. My favorite of these is by Michele Bardsley. I have also read some books by Lois Duncan, Cindy Hoh, and James Patterson.

I've been getting into Graphic Comic Books lately. I love horror, mystery, and romance comic book volumes from the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. I have my eye on Manga comics, but I haven't read any of these yet.

I LOVE watching Lifetime Television movies, the Mentalist, Gray's Anatomy, and certain reality shows like Hell's Kitchen and Project Runway. I LOVE old horror and sci-fi movies from the 40's, 50's, and 60's especially movies with Vincent Price and Joan Crawford. I am crazy about Alfred Hitchcock films and the original Twilight Zone series. I LOVE John Hughes romantic comedies from the 80's and 90's likePretty in Pink", "Some Kind of Wonderful" and "16 Candles". I also LOVE 80's new wave music like Missing Persons, Culture Club, the Go-Go's, Cindy Lauper, and a lot of the One Hit Wonders from this time.

I am CRAZY and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, STICKERS...especially Kawaii or Korean ones; food stickers; stickers with a face; ones by Susan Branch, Mrs. Grossman's and Sandy Lion; "smelly" stickers; and Sanrio ones. No reward stickers please
