Description:

I would like to see if anyone is interested. I have a local quilt shop that sells bags of scrap fabric and I thought if others have quilt shops in their area that do that it would be fun to exchange a bag. If you are interested please let me know. You must fill a quart baggie. I will be going to the quilt shop and just moving some into a baggie to ship to my partner!!

I don't know of any stores that do that in my area, but I have way too many scraps that I can't quite decide what to do with. I'd love to trade them out and bring some fresh blood, er, fabric, into the mix! Maybe you could specify how big the bag needs to be so we can start thinking about shipping costs.

I have loads of scraps too,and the local fabric shop sells bags of scrapes I love (nice big pieces),

I'd appreciate some directions as to amount of scraps -- say, fill an 8x10 envelope or a small priority box, a quart size plastic baggie -- whatever you choose.

I was thinking a sm brown paper bag....but like the idea of a quart size plastic baggie....That is what we will do!! Thank you!!

I have scraps of all sizes. I would think if you could get it in a quart size plastic baggie.....then its good. I will have an assortment in the one i send

I am assuming that these scraps should be straight cut pieces, not random shapes from cutting out something.

That would be good to know! I have so many of every description, I want to send the right things. To me the size thing is important too. There is a lot I can do with 2 inches of fabric, but not so much with 1/2 inch! But a lot of people will want scraps bigger than 2 inches by far. We really need a ruling!
