I like mix cds but I also like MP3 cds because you can fit so many more songs on a cd in MP3 format, that way I don't have to change the CD as often and it's also easier to transfer the files to my music library.
So, for this swap you will create 1 CD full of songs in MP3 format for your partner. You should be able to fit on average around 100 songs (maybe more) on a CD in MP3 format. The songs can be anything you like - senders choice. Make it full of stuff you enjoy listening to. Maybe mix it up a bit with the genres.
If you don't know how to burn a CD in this way, it's basically pretty much like making a data CD. You can drag and drop the files onto the CD or in iTunes you can select the MP3 option when the box comes up to ask you for the format. You just have to make sure all the songs you have in the playlist are that format. No AAC or copyright protected files or anything like that.
This is international since it's just 1 partner and a CD is pretty cheap to mail. You don't need a jewel case but make sure it's in a some sort of a sleeve. You don't have to send a track listing since so long as all your files are labeled properly. Please don't send a CD where everything is just listed as "unknown track" or something like that. I like to know the name of the songs I'm listening to and adding to my music library.
All are welcome so long as you can figure out how to make an MP3 CD. I do reserve the right to ban anyone that looks like a flake risk.
