Stamped images, not postage stamps, right? or are you saying actual stamping implements, 20 of them ? What is um.

frankcheez 01/ 1/2009 #

lady - it says in the name of the swap: "unmounted rubber stamps." The ones that are just the rubber parts, not mounted on a wooden block. um stands for unmounted.

Oh, my. It would be fun. I have to go count my stamps though - 20 is a lot.

Saulute 01/ 5/2009 #

Okey, I think, I could gather that much. I am in!

As luck would have it my mother in law makes rubber stamps, so I finally found a swap that I can trade out some of those same ones I see ALL the time. Thank you for hosting this one!

20 is a lot, but I just hosted a 5 for 5...there were only 2 participants-me and one other. I got her package and inside were around 20 unmounted rubber stamps! I decided there probably were more like me who have a gazillion stamps on hand to swap out. It would take me a long time of doing 5 for 5, but just a few swaps with 20 and I'd have swapped out what I have that can't use. Saulute, If you have some you want to trade, maybe you could host your own swap???

But why? This swap is perfect!

I am looking forward to this, I have a bunch!

I'm sorry Saulute, I read your first comment and then not the second! I thought that you might not have enough!!! I see you're in and I've assigned the partners. Have fun!

Just wanted to mention that an inexpensive way to send the stamps is to use an oversized card envelope and fold it over (if it's oversized enough) Make sure to use packing tape wrapped both ways around the envelope just in cse the post office man handles it! I just sent 20+ stamps this way and it cost under $2.

Oops, one more comment...if you put your stamps inside of a zip lock baggie with the name and address of the recipient inside, then if your package should happen to be opened, which shouldn't happen, then all is not lost. I have had MANY bad experiences in my dealings with ebay with items arriving - even in Priority BOXES where the box busted open and items fell out...I'm a very cautious mailer!!

I have already recieved my stamps! Thanks! I have mine already to go out in the morning.
