Description:

This is #38 I expect people will start to receive their original postcards now. See the forum to share pictures!

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND:

Choose a card. A card that you think people would enjoy seeing (however, PLEASE DO NOT USE EXTRA LARGE POSTCARDS THAT WILL REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE) Put your name and address (including the country) on the right hand side of the card. Put the title of the swap "Postcards Traveling Around the World #38" and your screen name at the top of the left hand side. PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE and send it off to your partner.

IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN A PREVIOUS ROUND:

Just write your name/user name, city, state/country, date, and the round number (#38) on the left hand side of the postcard you received in the previous round. Put it into an envelope and send it to your partner!

PLEASE NOTE: Do not write your entire address on the postcard- This takes up too much space

Hang on to the postcard(s) you receive each round. We will have another round each month. Sign up when you receive yours from the previous round. When the left side of the postcard is full with the names and cities of those that have received the postcard, the last person will stamp your actual postcard and send it back to you.

Important

  • Please don't send more than 3 cards per round. Hang on to the extra ones and send them in following rounds. If you have too many, please contact me and I will get them back in rotation.

  • If you decide to stop these swaps contact me so you can send your cards to me and they can stay in rotation.

Hi there, thanks for hosting these! Just wanted to point out it looks like there's 2 versions of #37 up!

The host hasn't been online since Jan. 14. And my partner hasn't sent her swap and has not been online since Jan.13. Hmmmmm

My partner from the previous #37 is what I'm referring to.

I am only online to maintain this swap so I don't log in often. If you don't receive a postcard rate them appropriately.

Good to know! Thanks! I won’t freak out next month‼️

Slippy8 02/ 2/2020 #

Also if a more active user wants to take over running these, I would be happy to hand these off.

This will probably be my last swap for this, I have been in at least 30 of the 37/38 and have not even received my first postcard back.

Slippy8 02/18/2020 #

@Momskii Sorry to see you go. To my surprise I haven't gotten a postcard back yet either!

Jafferty 02/21/2020 #

I am sending home a card to @AmookIslandCreations (Sherry Harmes) in Alaska. This card was begun in #26 (Jan 2019)

A swapper in South Africa has put a stamp on her postcard. Unless the last person to sign it is also in South Africa, it will sadly gave to be returned in an envelope. May 2020
