I have recently been having fun with black backgrounds. For this swap you will make your partner something using a black background. You can make a tag, ATC, card or anything you want and you can embellish with whatever you want. Be creative and have fun! Do your best work – send something that you would love to receive yourself. No sticker slapping, but that doesn't mean you can't use stickers you just need to make it a cohesive part of your art!
Above is a card I made for my friend using an embossing folder and gilding waxes to paint the card. This is for inspiration only, you do not need to make your creation like mine. You can also get other ideas off of Pinterest or other craft sites.
Include with your swap the swap title and your swap ID.
If you have questions, please message me on swap-bot as I am not notified of messages left at the bottom of the swap in the comment section and might not see them as fast as I would if left a message on swap-bot.
No 1's or 3's in the last year and no previous history of unexplained 1's or 3's. You must have at least a 4.9 rating to participate in this swap.
This swap is sender's choice, so if you are very specific about what you can and cannot receive or have a list of dislikes a mile long, this swap is not for you!
Rate your partner upon receipt of your swap. No one should have to hunt down a rating! In my opinion, non-raters are just as bad as flakers!
If you receive the swap and it meets the swap requirements, you must rate a 5 even if it is not your style or something you personally like. Hearts are available if you absolutely loved the swap and thought it was amazing! A 3 rating is for swaps that do not meet requirements or that are late. Please do not be the “Swap Police!” You don't need to investigate every detail of a swap to see if it “cleared the rules” or look at postmarks hoping to catch someone mailing a day late! If it is obvious fine, but don't be petty and go looking for minor “infractions!” And no, that does not mean you can send late either! A 1 rating is if you did not receive your swap. I will angel those who do not receive a swap I host after they have tried to resolve the situation with their swap partner and are unable to resolve the problem and after they have rated their partner a 1.
Please be kind and respectful – no drama! Swap-bot is supposed to be fun! 😃
