I am a wife and the mother of three kids that are mostly grown. I work full-time as a medical transcriptionist. I enjoy crafting, reading, camping and spending time with family and friends. Some of my favorite times are spent crafting with my BFF and/or shopping for craft supplies! We make a yearly adventure of going to the scrapbook expo near us. I am a member of a card making club that meets monthly to make cards.
I like songs from all music genres, but I would say my favorite is that awesome 80's music!
I enjoy reading. One of my favorite authors is Amy Harmon. If you haven't had a chance to read anything she has written, you are missing out and need to give her books a try!
The only movies I don't enjoy are horror movies; otherwise, I am up for a good movie!
I am a TV junkie! I have a favorite show for every day of the week and love to use my DVR!
My favorite craft is card making. I send most of my cards at Christmas and enjoy making and sending Christmas cards. I enjoy crafting and being creative. I like to try new techniques. My newest craft hobby is bookfolding which I have really enjoyed. It looks harder than it is, but it is time consuming.
Some of my favorite things are dragonflies, butterflies, hummingbirds, leaves, snowflakes, steampunk, owls, feathers, keys, fairies, gnomes, mushrooms and woodland animals. I love texture and like to touch things. Needless to say, I don't like signs that say, "Do Not Touch!" I enjoy collecting everyday ephemera to incorporate into my crafts such as stamps, packaging, junk mail, envelopes and tags - I have even bought a shirt because I loved the tag so much! ;) lol
My favorite season is fall and I wish it would last longer.
I only push the sent button after I have dropped the swap off at the post office or the blue mailbox. If you do not receive your swap, it is lost in the mail. Please message me if this happens, and I will resend. Also please let me know if one of my swaps ever comes owing postage so I can send you money to cover it. I don't always go inside the post office to have them weigh it because I have a scale and do my best to put adequate postage on, but I have noticed at my own post office different postal workers are more strict and require more postage than others.
