Description:

Give someone a taste of your stationery collection!

In this swap, please send your partner 10 items from at least 3 of the following categories.

•stickers

•washi tape samples

•memo sheets

•sticky notes

•unique paper

When sending stickers, please make sure they are at least the size of a larger coin. If you want to send your partner tiny stickers, send at least 3 to count as 1 item.
If you are sending a full sticker sheet, it can be counted as 2 items out of the 10 When sending these items, please make sure they are ten unique items. For example, if I send two of the same exact stickers, it would count as one item. If I send two stickers that are different, then it is two items. Only include things that you would like to receive! This should be a small sampler of your favorites from your collection. Please comment with any revisions/suggestions :)

I love the idea behind this swap! But I have a few suggestions before I decide to join :)

  • Please clarify how many different types of items to send. For example, you should at least send 4 different Item types: washi tape, stickers, memo paper, sticky notes. Because some people might just decide to send 10 pcs of stickers, period.

  • Does a sticker flake count as one sticker? A sticker flake is a tiny decorative sticker, usually smaller than an inch in diameter. You might want to clarify this rule because some people might count one sticker flake as one item and some might count one sticker sheet as one item. What size should a sticker be for it to count as one item? :)

I don’t mean to be offensive, I just like to have clear cut rules before I join swaps, hope you understand! Thank you :)

@angdiane you are not being offensive! This is very helpful, I often forget things and this is my first couple times hosting a swap. I appreciate those who help me :)

This is a fun idea! Thanks for hosting :)

TabbyShack 01/ 9/2020 #

Can someone give me an idea of how many sheets of sticky notes or memo pads to include? From the description of what the size/count is for stickers to qualify, it sounds like we are not expected to send an entire pad of memo sheets or post-it notes. Guidance is greatly appreciated :)

If we send a new stationary pack with multiple pages and envelopes does that still count as one item?

annabelleshannon 01/ 9/2020 #

@tabbyshack I think 3 is a good number. Definitely not a whole stack!

annabelleshannon 01/ 9/2020 #

@mailingmamma I’ve never had a stationer pack but I would count the envelopes as one item and the papers as one item. In general, I think it never hurts to send extra! But it’s also just a tase/sample of what you have so you don’t have to send a new pack

@anabelleshannon So I sent mine but going to mark "unsent" and then "sent" again because I can't remember my partners swap-bot name .... Sent date might change hoping no one thinks I sent it out late 💖
