Description:

February is InCoWriMo month and I LOVE celebrating 'old fashioned snail mail' correspondence. If you don't know what InCoWriMo is, click the link above.

For this swap, you will have 3 partners and you will write them EACH a letter. Letters should be handwritten whenever possible, but if you need to type, it's ok. Just be sure it's not a form letter! :) If you need an example of how to write a letter, check out THIS LINK It's not 'perfect' for this swap, but it's a good example, in my opinion and should give you some ideas. :)

Each letter should be at least 2 pages, or one sheet front and back. Page size should be around A5 or 5x8 inches in size, but it doesn't have to be exact. If you use smaller paper, add an extra sheet. You can use stationery or plain paper -it's up to you. This swap is about the words on the page, not the decoration.

You are not required to reply to the letter! If you wish to, you may, if your partner is ok with it.

This swap is USA only, and you will need a USA address - to include APO/FPO as those are really US addresses! As well as Puerto Rico. There are also International swaps posted.

If you wish to add extras - tuck ins - please check your partner's profile first, to see if they would like them or not. You are rating on your partner sending a letter of about 2 pages. And sending on time.

Who can join?

Now, who can join. New swappers are allowed in the swap with a very well filled out profile. You should have several sections filled out, information about what you like or dislike, collections, favorite crafts, favorite music/moves/books are always good topics to include. You don't have to give all your life's details, but you can paint a picture of yourself with words on your profile.

All swappers need to be current on your swaps - no late sends on your dash! Any 1's or 3's need to be made up to the best of your ability, and if you have any 1's or 3's w/in the last year, it's probably a good idea to PM me ahead of time and explain. All swappers need to have very well filled out profiles.

And all swappers need to sign in w/in 3 days of sign up deadline, or you will be banned from the swap. I do this because I want to see who is checking in and active on the site. If you cannot sign in w/in the 3 days, just send me a PM and let me know.

I will check through profiles before assigning partners, and I will ban anyone I think may be a problem. I may contact you ahead of time, but I don't always, though i do try to leave a comment. If you know of any problem swappers or double profilers, please send me a PM with the information and I will take it into consideration. But please do not leave a comment below as I may not see it as quickly.

I will angel if you are flaked on, but we won't have any flakers, right? :) If you have issues with the letter you receive or if you don't receive a letter, please contact me and I will angel after you have left the appropriate rating.

For new swappers - partners will be assigned the day after sign up ends, usually by noon (I'm in the Pacific time zone). You should receive an email from swap-bot when partners have been assigned, and directing you to come back to the swap to find your partners. To find your partner, look on the right side of the swap description and you will see 'see who your partners are' (or something like that) and a new window will pop up. When you drop your letter in the mail, please click that you have marked it sent. Swap-bot assigns partners, I do not have any control over who you are paired up with. Once the swap sign up ends, I just check over the list again, and click a button and the computer bits and bops assign partners. It's like magic. :)

If you have any questions Please PM me rather than leaving a comment below, as I may not see it until partners are assigned. Admittedly, I forget to check comments until the end.
