Spring Baskets

The Spring Equinox is the beginning of spring, and has been celebrated for thousands of years Easter is an ancient spring solstice festival – the same spring solstice festival that gave us Carnival and Phagwa – involving the death and resurrection of the husband of the Great Earth Mother Goddess. This resurrection, far from being a miraculous historical event that occurred two thousand odd years ago, is a symbolic spiritual renewal that has its origins in the dim mists of the earliest human societies in Africa.

I will assign partners on March 20th (Ostara) We will send out by April 1st (All Fools Day) in time to be opened on April 12th (Easter).

In our baskets (store bought or hand made) we will include:

1 beautifully decorated egg in your best work, made out of any material you choose except for paper to represent new beginnings.

1 crystal/stone/mineral over 1" in length or diameter charged with a blessing by you

1 small profile gift (hand made or store bought) equaling $5 or more in value, to represent an offering gift.

1 Spring card filled out by you (hand made or store bought) with a cheerful message
