To me, candy is the least great thing about the holiday as a matter of face I am still eating Easter candy from 2018 lol!

Personally it's all about the cool decorations, jewelry, rubber stamps, pins, toys, small purses, socks, makeup, knick knacks, stickers, and so much more.

You will have only one partner who you will need to decorate a cigar box or something similar in size and fill it up with anything Halloween related as long as it isn't candy, please make sure that you fill it up really well with handmade or store bought items that have a Halloween theme. Please put your best effort into decorating your box for your partner, you want to give them something that they will want to put on display for years to come (I use my previous ones all year around to decorate my desk and hold all my little odds and ends). There are some great ideas online, if you Google Halloween cigar box you will see some super examples.

Wood or heavy cardboard cigar boxes are both fine. Just as long as it is a good sturdy box that won't fall apart and as long as it is a regular cigar box size or bigger. If you can't get any cigar boxes for free, most craft stores have wood boxes that are the same size that are very inexpensive. I am giving this a long send by date to give people plenty of time to decorate and find goodies to fill it.

Please ask if you have any questions. Open to US/Canada residents only for postage price concerns, if you are out of the USA and would like to create a version of this swap for your area of the world or international please feel free to do so!

There is no spending amount but please only send what you would love to receive. Do not send dirty, damaged items. Handmade and store bought items are both welcome! Michaels, Jo Anns and Target have great $1 - $3 sections and usually starting the end of August they start getting Halloween items in.

rubber stamps

plush toys (bats, black cats, ghosts etc...)

tarot deck

So glad to see this swap is back! Doing fewer large swaps this year, but this is one I always enjoy and will not miss! Thanks for hosting - watching for now as I'm full on swaps, but will join soon!

I'm confused about this being a USA only swap as written in the swap information, but the location says Regional - USA/Canada. Watching for now until I understand if it is international or not.

Edited this swap so that description and info match. Swap is USA/Canada only although if anyone would like to do an International version please copy any of my information you need to create a group international version of this swap!

I know what you mean Rabbitfreedom. I have had no income since Covid started and since I am self employed I am ineligible for unemployment and that one stimulus check wasn't enough. I am really having to cut back on the amount of swaps I run this year. I am hoping some others will step up and run some swaps so that the group stays active.
