One of my very favorite podcasts is History Goes Bump - Ghost tours for the Theater of the Mind. This show will choose a historically haunted location and give the background history of the location, then share the details of the reported hauntings of the locations. They do world wide reports, though most are within the USA.

For this swap - which I hope will become a regular monthly swap! - you will choose a historically haunted location, and share the details with your partner. These locations can be from anywhere, world wide. You can choose a local place, somewhere you've visited, something random - it's fully up to you!

Include with the swap:

The location of the haunting - city/state/country is fine

A brief history of the location - a paragraph is fine, detailing what's important about the location, anything that might have happened in the location, why someone may have heard of the location, things like that.

A brief overview of the haunting - again, just a paragraph is fine, depending on what you are able to find. Share details such as: when the haunting was first 'discovered' or reported, what the haunting is said to be - an apparition, a noise, a smell, etc. - including any dates that the apparition may have been sighed. If any ghost hunts have been held in the location, feel free to include that information as well.

Swap can be typed or handwritten, and photos may be included, but are not required. If you haven't listened to the show, I encourage you to give it a try, and it might give you some ideas for the swap as well! :) The show is usually G rated - if an episode isn't G, they give a warning at the beginning. The show has a Face Book group as well, and apparently many small children listen with their parents!

Questions? Comments? Please send me a PM! Hope you enjoy this idea!
