Description:

I was thrilled by how well the Harry Potter Magic Yarn Ball swap went. There were a few snags on my end, but everyone sent their packages!!! So since that one was such a success, I've decided to try another magic yarn ball swap!

This time it is going to be a little more free form. The main theme to it is stash items. I know most of us knitters and crocheters and yarn crafters in general have a plethora of yarn, and notions. so ladies(and gents if any) raid your stashes for buttons and yarn needles, crochet hooks, stich markers, beads, and anything else and wind it up in a ball of stash yarn. feel free to add what ever you like into the mix. if you have a pattern to correspond with the stash yarn you think your partner may enjoy knitting or crocheting to their gifts that would be perfect to add as well. atleast one decent sized skein of yarn and 10-20 goodies(depending on size and general value).

now the rules. I want to leave this open to newbies with a full profile and atleast 2 package swaps under their belts. no ratings under a 4.8 please, and no "3's" or "no-sends" in the last 3 months. if you feel you were rated unfairy feel free to PM me and we can discuss it.

this swap should only cost you shipping, but feel free to add some bought goodies if you wish for hearts. be sure to check your partner's profile for allergies and like and dislikes. if you do send knitting needles or crochet hooks be sure to also make sure of which craft you partner does or if they are interested in trying something new. colors and notions and treats are really sender's choice with a bit of profile inspiration! have lots of fun, and happy swapping!

(p.s. if you need help on how to wind the ball PM me or post a comment below)

I switched this to international since shipping is really the only expense in this swap

Thank you for joining! I love the magic yarn balls, they're just as fun to put together as to unravel!

if these continue to be popular i am thinking of hosting one every few months. i'd like to do a valentine day themed one, or a winter themed one coming jnuary/february time.

I would love to join but really the only goodies I could include in the ball would be beads. I am just getting into knitting.
