Description:

One partner. One book. This is for EITHER a new or used book. If you have a nice used bookstore near you, this might be a good time to spend a bit of time scoping it out!

Find one book for your partner with 3 of the following (the first is required... the other two are sender's choice): 1) a scene involving Christmas, or anything Christmas related

2) A punctuation mark in the title

3) The color red on the cover somewhere

4) An animal as one of the primary characters

5) a gift in the story somewhere

6) the word "trouble" in the title

7) a photo of the author's pet on the back cover or book jacket

If you hit more then three of these and you are MY partner, I will give you a heart! Also if somehow you match it to my profile. (this is NOT a profile based swap, though...totally sender's choice) ...But I, as host, cannot regulate how other people give hearts, only make suggestions.

Send media mail to save money, but include NOTHING else in the package. (a note tucked inside the book is okay) Send by the "send by" date...but when rating, remember media mail may take a bit longer to receive, especially closer to Christmas.

Too complicated? Let me know. I think we can do it. And you have a full month to find the book.

Like I need another excuse to lurk around a bookstore! Would anyone be terribly offended if I ended up sending a child's storybook ... I know that it's senders choice and all, but that's also what I'd prefer to receive as well. I'm just throwing that out there ;)

Wouldn't bother ME. Nothing is in the rules against it, and I enjoy children's literature!

We could put preferences here... if your partner is able to accomodate, that seems like a heart to me!! But know that they may not be able to meet the criteria AND find the genre you prefer for this swap.

But I am already planning some other book swaps that might include a book we actually WANT. Or one we actually want to SEND. :)
