Hi, my name is Ami ... novice adult / micro adventurer / smile seeker
My interests range from the extremely juvenile to the mildly sophisticated. I consider myself a treasure hunter of the five senses. The best adjective to describe me would be the most flattering definition of silly. I'm not ashamed to tell you that I have a slightly geeky disposition and am often an anxious mess ... but I try to approach life with a Homer Simpson-esque attitude: WOO HOO!
I live on the east coast of Canada in the province of New Brunswick, and although I find it peaceful and picturesque, it can also be tremendously boring. Making mail fun is just another way that I make rural life less monotonous
I'm not a crafter per se, but I enjoy checking out what others are creating and from time to time I'll give something new a try
miscellaneous:
sci-fi, robots, fairy tales / fables, baking / desserts, kitschy / geeky things, Nintendo / gaming, tea time, going out for ice cream, my dog / your dog, yellow rain boots, giant tortoises, things with tentacles, fruit bats, chance meetings with fluffy tailed squirrels, chatty birds, hooping, toy yo-yos, paddle ball, 80s cheesiness, umbrellas, kites, bubbles, quotes, mythology, hot air balloons / airships, vintage wire frames ... like birdcages and dress forms, coin-op rides, Jeep Wranglers, the macro settings on my camera, men who smell nice, matryoshkas, farm life, perfume, zombies, Johnny Cupcakes, Canadian symbolism / pop culture, Nike, luxury sleeping, hugs, strangers, making lists, my iPod ... in Soviet Russia, iPod listens to you!
colours:
peridot green, charcoal, sunshine / buttery yellow, pink accents

Meomi, Amy Sol, Audrey Kawasaki, Natalia Pierandrei, Juri Ueda, Susie Ghahremani, Salvador Dali, Tom Kidd
reading:
vintage science fiction, classic juvenile literature, adventure, avant-garde, women authors, philosophy, psychology, semi-autobiographical
I love the smell of a bookstore / library and the sound of a page turning. I'm a word nerd. My bookshelf is overflowing
music:
The Tea Party has been my favourite band since I was 14 years old. I'm an advocate for most Canadian music

I've got a soft spot for 80s action like The A-Team, Airwolf, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider
I'm a hardcore fan of The Simpsons
I ♥ Star Trek! Voyager is my fave, followed by TNG, DS9, TOS and TAS respectively. Enterprise is omitted from that list because of its suck factor
characters:
Mary Poppins, Lion Force Voltron, Kermit the Frog, She-Ra, Homer Jay Simpson, Brainy Smurf, Sarah Connor, Lt. Commander Data, Lt. Commander Tuvok, Captain Kathryn Janeway ... W.W.J.D.?

Earl Grey. Hot. from my replicator

Well not unless I draw in some very clever propoganda that provokes the urge to shop like crazy.. :B
Heh heh heh. Guess whose getting a Fallout ATC from me..? :P
Damn it Ami! Stop being so awesome. You're scaring the children.
Oh Captain my captain! The Zelda swap is up :)
That's great, I love your ATC's! I think two might be fair for a zine. But I'm not sure, because I haven't traded zines before. XP Let me know if you don't agree.
I second that @PezPiece

Hey, Ami!
If you're interested in my Animal Crosszine, I'd be more than happy to send you one! In exchange, I would take anything I collect, or anything on my supplies wishlist or general wishlist on my profile. I would love something handmade by you, but I'm not too picky. :) Let me know if you want the zine and we can set up a private swap.
