Description:

This swap is for anyone who loves to craft with their young children, or who encourage their children to be creative in different ways.

In this swap your child (aged 2 to 8) will be swaping one beautified canvas any size, no larger than 8x10 (I'm not sure where you are located, but at the dollar stores here you can buy different sized canvas for one dollar). Let them pick it out!

They can use any medium they wish to decorate their canvas (paint, marker, paper, clay, foil...whatever!) A letter from your child describing their artwork should be included. It does not have to be lengthy...if it's a cow....then say so. Yes it can be abstract. Make sure they sign it (if they can) and include their age.

Empower your child, let them know that they are sending their artwork to some other child who will hang it on their wall in their home. They are famous! Encourage your children to appreciate others art and hang what you recieve in their bedroom, or playspace.

Now, crank up the tunes and go craft with your children.

Parents of crafters must have at least a 4.5 rating or higher. Newbies welcome with a fully filled out profile. Don't let our children down.

what a lovely idea! My two are too old to do this now, but would have absolutely loved it when they were younger! have loads of fun .......

Kath loved creating her watercolour trees and flowers! The canvas has a lot of positive energy, not to mention bright cheerful hues - and it's going back to our home country, so that's exciting too...

OK, I am a duh. I ONLY just noticed that you and me are the only swappers, so basically we're trading canvasses! You didn't mention your children's gender, ages, or favorite colours, so I can only hope that they'll appreciate her six-year-old daubings :) Looking forwards to your artwork in return...

Oh don't worry, My daughter completed her artwork yesterday too. Not too shabby for a two year old I must say. I think your daughters artwork will fit perfectly into my daughters bedroom. Can't wait to swap wiht our children. So glad you joined!

Finally it's dry! Rowan used oil paints, so I think that was the first problem. But it's dry now, and in the mail.
