For the most part, I am an educated stay at home mom of two beautiful children Rowan & Miles (can't wait to use those Horticulture and Social work Degrees I've earned). I am lucky enough to have married an amazing man (though don't get me wrong, he definatly has his moments). I enjoy travelling and hiking, and try my best to do them both as often as I can. I'm a runner. I am risky yet safe. I say things I really shouldn't at times I really shouldn't. I try to surround myself with people who appreciate the fact that I say things I really shouldn't at times I really shouldn't.
I'm one of those people who say they listen to everything and I actually do (perhaps I should work on a mixed tape swap). I have difficulty with some opera (by that I mean it physically hurts me to listen to it...and others make me cry), and country (unless it's Parton or Cash). Most often you will find me listening to Classic Rock (The Dead, Dylan and the like)....or Hip Hop (The Roots, Tribe...yadda yadda yadda).
Ok...this is tough. It really depends on my mood. Without being particular, I like movies that are full of action, suspense...violence and sex are also not too shabby (when the kids are sleeping of course). If I'm feeling so inclined, I also like to enjoy a good cry, so abnormally sappy, or hokey chick flicks and be enjoied over a nice tub of Ben and Jerry's as well.
I love to watch LOST. And call it pathetic if you will, but I do cherish the silliness of my favorite reality shows Survivor and Amazing Race. The best, and only, three hours of television a week I watch. Lately I've discovered a love for True Blood.
I love to knit, and make collages of sorts (cards, cook books, anything really). I love to paint, but that doens't mean I'm good at it. I enjoy making jewlery and sewing is fun too. There are few crafts that I've tried and haven't enjoied.

A package was sent from myself to my parter for a swap that I hosted. It became clear after much back and forth messaging with my partner, that my package never arrived. I had put a great deal of effort into my swap, and for me, at the time (having just had a baby), it was a huge committment to resend.
I was dissappointed that my partner gave me a one, considering all the efforts I made to find the package. Sometimes mail gets lost.
I believe she was angry that she had put so much effort into her package and that she got nothing in return. It's understandable to work so hard on something and get nothing in return. Interestingly enough, that same swap I recieved nothing as well. I believe we were the only two.
I have been away from swap bot for a while taking care of my family, but now that they are bigger and I "think" I have it all figured out, I'm ready to start swapping again. I looked up my parter who gave me a one to see if there was somthing I could do to make up for my one, and it looks like she no longer swaps.
I will always send a package, if I don't, something is wrong. I enjoy swapping, I don't sign up for more than I can handle, and only participate in those that I love. Please look over my one rating. I am an honest swapper.
