Description:

This swap is international, since it's only a letter.

You each will have 2 partners and you will write them a letter telling them what you can see from your bedroom window.

Please, don't just send your partners a list. I'm sure that would piss them off, especially if they've written a detailed, decorated, fancy letter to someone else. Doesnt really seem that fair, does it?

Anyway, the letter has to be at least 1 page long, doesnt matter how many pages it is after that. Tell blurbs or meanings behind the things you see, if there are any. Go into detail too. Send a picture of the view from your bedroom window if you'd like too. I'm sure this will score brownie points.

For example, if you see a garden, tell your partner what types of flowers are in it, what colours they are, when the garden was planted, or if it's been there since you moved in. Let them know if any cats walk through it and eat your flowers (I know mine would), things like that.

You will have 2 weeks to plan out your letter. Send out the same or different letters to each of your partners. Doesnt matter. Typed or written. Written preferred, but some of us have extremely ungodly writing which most people cant read, so in that case, type it up :)

Newbies are welcomed, but have a filled out profile first, since I will be checking them. I dont require links fo any kind of feedback for anything because I know not everyone buys from ebay or something like that.

However, people with less than a 4.5 rating must contact me if they feel they were given wrongful no-sends or if they had problems which prevented them from sending or not being on time with previous swaps. If you dont have a good excuse, I'll be using my banning powers, most likely.

Anything else youre wondering about, ask me.

But living on a boat... I don't have a bedroom window :) I have a porthole above the bed :) I sleep partly under the side-deck!

Boatbird, how wonderful! Does your boat stay dockside, or is it an everchanging panorama that you see? Either way, it would be a wonderful letter to receive! I think i will join this, because even though my view is not particularly exciting, I do have goldfinches that visit my window birdfeeder that ask to be memorialized!

I'm seriously tempted by this one... give me a day or so to think it over!

Our boat is moored in Paphos Harbour (if you go to my profile page, I have my websites listed that will show you photos!) but the view is never the same twice with the weather and our changing assortment of neighbours...

As I'm fairly new to swap-bot I don't want to over extend myself and get a bad rating.....

As a sailboat-enthusiast-stuck-on-land, I personally would love to get a letter from someone describing what they saw out of their bunk/cabin porthole! I could enjoy "living aboard" vicariously!

Wow! Just this afternoon before work I was looking out the window and thinking about something like this.

Way cool swap idea.

Thank you! My thinking is generally out of the box, so I'll probably have a few unique ones.. like my college paraphernalia one I've got going too.

Bedroom window, pothole. Both are good :)

I owe my swap partners, Starwatcher and Kris Lauren, an apology. This was my first swap to actually WRITE something, and I had a terrible case of writer's block mixed with procrastination. An awful combination! My "view" is on it's way to you today! I'm really sorry it is late!

Hey everyone! I tried my hand at uploading some images to the Gallery above. The first two didn't work the way I wanted, but the third time was the charm. To my swap p's, Starwatcher and Kris Lauren, I don't think it will spoil the surprise to look at it now, but you may want to wait until after you read my letter.
