Description:

I know many girls here like tea so here's a tea swap. You have to send your partner 3 bags of tea. They have to be different. If there is any flavour you really don't like you can write it down here. Else it is up to your partner what she will send.

I have never done a tea swap before. Is each bag supposed to be individually wrapped? I just checked our stock and will have to buy some if that's the case.

You can also send teabags that have no individual wrapping but put them separately in a zipperbag or something so the flavours do not mix. This swap is not for loose tea, unless your partner loves it, then you can send it if you like.

Since I live in the Indo-Pak neighborhood on Chicago's north side, buying unusual tea is no problem. In fact, this evening I shopped for tea and bought a two-pack of tea mix imported from India. It's called Quik Tea in ginger chai flavor. Each pouch contains sugar, milk, tea and ginger and holds enough for one cup's worth. So, here's my second question: Is such a tea mix okay or does this swap require plain tea in a tea bag? On the little box, the company claims that their tea "harkens back to the streets of Bombay." But even better, it supplies "the perfect Oomph for a not so perfect day."

@RecipePC I'd be interested in a mix packet like that (sounds tasty!), but I'm not sure if everyone else would.

The tea sounds interesting @RecipePC I wouldn't mind. But if you are not sure your partner will like it then just pm her before so you know.

For those folks in the US - Please keep in mind that if you send teabags in a regular envelope, it may cost more than a 44 cent stamp. If the envelope is under 1 oz and over a certain thickness, you'll need to add 20 cents. Check out the USPS site for more info.
